What has prompted the Professional Planner Standards
2014: The HR management profession – having been challenged with repeated questionable event planning tasks and outcomes – requested the investigation into a planning standard which could provide guidance for the event decision-making sectors.
2015: An event industry summit primarily of MICE suppliers and services to the event decision-making sectors unanimously supported the formulation of professional planner standards.
2016: Following further extensive investigation – together with consensus conversations – this first professional planner standard has been completed.
2017: Professional Planner Standards Launched!
